When is Hoda Kotb’s last day on TODAY? Special celebration planned for co-anchor’s last day on the show
Hoda Kotb, host of NBC’s the ‘TODAY’ show, announced late last year that she would be leaving the program to spend more time with her daughters.
Hoda Kotb, popular host of the TODAY show, turned 60 in August last year. This milestone birthday precipitated a change in her outlook, as well as a decision to “turn the page” and “try something new”.
In September 2024, she announced she would be leaving the morning show to spend more time with her young daughters Hayley and Hope.

Hoda Kotb soon to leave the TODAY show with special celebration
Kotb’s last day as part of the TODAY show will be next week, on Friday, Jan. 10. Her last week on the show will be filled with special celebrations for the beloved journalist.
There will be a live audience for her last day on the show, and lots of surprises including a “big announcement.”

Kotb has assured fans that she will continue to be part of the NBC family despite her departure from the program.
She has served as co-anchor on the TODAY show with Savannah Guthrie for more than five years. Her “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” co-host Jenna Bush Hager said the program will be holding a “Hoda-bration” for her partner.
