With so much serious content covering our airwaves, sometimes we need a little political satire, silly characters and top notch tunes.

Well into its 49th season, Saturday Night Live bounces on with its trademark blend of humor, surprises, and memorable performances. With a record-breaking 93 Emmy wins SNL has solidified its place in television history and the eclectic mix of hosts and performances keeps it fresh. The show’s timely political satire, iconic characters, and cutting-edge musical performances continue to captivate audiences, making it the highest-rated late-night program across both traditional and digital platforms.

Since its debut nearly half a century ago in 1975, SNL has been a launchpad for comedic talent and remains a cultural touchstone with its unique brand of humor and commentary. Broadcasting live from Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center, it remains a must-watch for many viewers, spanning all ages. So, who’s up next?

Ramy Youssef to host SNL Season 49, episode 15

Following Josh Brolin’s turn on 9 March – where he featured Ariana Grande - next up as host is Ramy Youssef. As a stand-up comic, not to mention his stints in acting, directing and screenwriting, Youssef feels like a natural fit for SNL.

The New Yorker will have just turned 33 (on 26 March for anyone wanted to send birthday wishes) when he takes to the stage and as a former Golden Globe winner, for his role as Ramy Hassan in the comedy series ‘Ramy’, he’s more than up to this job.

Who is performing on SNL with Ramy Youssef?

Travis Scott will be the musical addition to episode 15 of season 49. Like Youssef, Scott is no stranger to awards, having been nominated for 10 Grammys and winning one Latin Grammy. The 32-year old has seen hit singles ‘Antidote,’ ‘Butterfly Effect,’ and ‘Sicko Mode’ propel him to fame, with collaborations with Kendrick Lamar and Drake lifting him even higher.

When can I watch Ramy Youssef on SNL?

Youssef and Scott, along with a variety of performers, will be hitting your screen on Saturday 30 March. As usual it will be broadcast at 11:30 ET (10:30 CT, 9:30 MT, 8:30PT) and then will be accessible on NBC’s official Saturday Night Live webpage thereafter to ensure anyone who wants to see it can do. Enjoy!
