As the much-loved and often viral segment of the show neared its end in April 2023, all thoughts were on who would take the final singing ride.
James Corden’s time as the host of ‘The Late Late Show’ came to an end on 27 April 2023, and when the emotional finale arrived, there will be no shortage of star power appearing on the show, from Will Ferrell to Harry Styles to the other prime time talk show hosts all getting together. There was even a cameo from President Biden!
But away from the rest of the show, much focus ahead of the culmination of the series was on the very popular segment, ‘Carpool Karaoke,’ and, more specifically, who would be joining James in the car.
When Adele closed off ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden
Rumours had already leaked beforehand, with sightings of Adele with Corden as they drove around Los Angeles in a black Range Rover SUV and sang some of her most famous songs. The English singer-songwriter wore a beige Louis Vuitton trench coach, along with flowing yellow pants and white sneakers.
As for Corden, he was seen in a black polo shirt and navy blue pants, along with white sneakers. Check it out and you’ll see that they swapped seats during the journey. Tears also flowed.
Adele had previously appeared in the segment back in 2016. Views continue to tally up on YouTube and elsewhere of all the back catalogue, which includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, the Jonas Brother, and Elton John.
