2022 Midterm Elections results in New Mexico: who won the Senate, House and Governor races?
Incumbent Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham expected to win re-election, with Dems leading in 2 out of 3 House races.
Polls in New Mexico are closed.
The state has voted for a Democrat in the presidential election for seven of the last eight races but remains much more open in the House and Senate elections.
Concerns over border security are particularly keenly-watched in the border states in the south, and the Republicans will fancy their chances of picking up Congressional seats if voters are basing their decision on that issue. The state’s two Senate seats are not up for re-election this year.

Governor
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, is facing Republican challenger and former TV meteorologist Mark Ronchetti. Grisham picked up 57% of the vote in 2018, with a winning margin of 14 percentage points.
The incumbent Democrat has been projected to win, however, with a smaller margin than her 2018 victory.

House
New Mexico is divided into three congressional districts, each of which will elect its representatives for the 118th Congress.
Democrat Gabe Vasquez is giving incumbent Republican Yvette Herrell a significant challenge, holding a lead of less than one percent over his opponent, with more than 95 percent of the vote counted. Should Vasquez win, the three-person delegation to the House of Representatives will be made up of Democrats.
