Although it may not feel like it, believe it or not today, March 20 marks the end of Winter and the start of Spring. US food chain Dairy Queen will be marking the event as they do every year with Free Cone Day - “the sweetest holiday of the year”.

DQ will be handing out a a free vanilla soft-serve cone complete with the iconic DQ curl on top to all customers who visit their stores today during opening hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. No purchase necessary but it’s one cone per person, while supplies last.

Free Cone Day has become a beloved tradition that brings fans together to welcome the changing season, while enjoying a delicious treat with family and friends.

“Free Cone Day is by far one of our favorite days of the year,” said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at ADQ. “There’s nothing sweeter than enjoying a tasty cone – on DQ – to kick off a season full of reasons to celebrate.”

The Free Cone Day offer is available in-store only and does not apply to delivery services or app orders.

Known for their famous Blizzards, DQ offer other food items such as burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken strip baskets, hot dogs as well as drinks and meal deals.
