The second day of the work week has been a favorite in school cafeterias and workplace dining halls and now, thanks to the president, Tuesday is even more fun.

It’s Taco Tuesday: Donald Trump chickens out again and extends China’s tariff deadline for another 90 days

Born in Chicago, Joe played varsity football and baseball in Bowling Green, Ohio for BGHS and later played lacrosse at BGSU. A year abroad in Spain changed everything. As destiny would have it he ended up living in Zaragoza, running his own business, teaching Journalism at a private university then working as a SEO journalist for Diario AS.
Update:

Trump doesn’t like his new TACO nickname, but he keeps proving CNBC correspondent Megan Cassella right. Cassella was the brave one in the press corps on May 28, who brought the acronym to Trump’s attention.

It wasn’t Cassella who came up with the TACO president idea, though: Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong coined the phrase in May when explaining how investors anticipate market ups and downs due to Trump constantly reconsidering his tariff policies.

Over two months later, Trump is backing out on agreements and extending deadlines. This week alone he has pushed back his deadline with Putin, again, as the world waits to see what the two leaders agree on in Alaska on Aug. 15.

Chances are that no decisions will be made and Trump will figure out that he’s actually in Alaska and not Russia.

He was talking a big game about how he was going to get tough with China before and after the November 2024 elections, but 8 months after being sworn in, he’s still pushing back deadlines for the Chinese.
