JFK assassination doctors break silence: what do we know about the Emergency Room?

The executive producer of ‘JFK: What the Doctors Saw’ has shared revelations from doctors who were in the emergency room on the day JFK was assassinated.

Update:
The executive producer of ‘JFK: What the Doctors Saw’ has shared revelations from doctors who were in the emergency room on the day JFK was assassinated.

In remembrance of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, a number of documentaries are featuring that fateful day in November 1963.

One of them is the new Paramount+ Original special entitled “JFK: What the Doctors Saw”, and the documentary includes revelations made by doctors who were present in the emergency room on the day the president was wheeled in.

JFK documentary airs new footage

The program showcases never-before-seen footage as well as the accounts of seven doctors who were in the Parkland Hospital emergency room on the day of the assassination.

According the Jacquelynn Lueth, the show’s executive producer, she interviewed the doctors individually and as a group, which was the first time they had all been together since Nov. 22, 1963, per CBS News.

According to the findings of the Warren Commission, officially known as the President’s Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, two shots fired by Lee Harvey Oswald hit Kennedy from behind- one entering through his upper box and exiting near his larynx, the other entering his head’s right side and going out through his forehead.

Doctors’ story contradicts official account

The doctors’ version of events, however, tells another story. According to Lueth, the physicians who saw the wound on Kennedy’s neck believed it to be an entrance wound. This would imply that Oswald was not the only gunman, as the president would have been shot from the front for the bullet to enter through the hole on his neck.

Lueth is convinced that the official version of Kennedy’s death is not true.

“The government did everything it could do to negate, intimidate and threaten the Parkland doctors because their observations contradicted the single ‘magic bullet’ theory of the Warren Commission,” said the producer.

“Based on this, I concluded that there had been a cover-up and the public had not been told the truth.”
