King Charles III Coronation: Social media reactions | Biden congratulates the new monarch
Well-wishes and congratulatory messages have been pouring in from around the world to King Charles III and Queen Camilla for their coronation.
King Charles III, who waited in the wings for seven decades, was coronated on Saturday at Westminster Abbey along with his wife Queen Camilla. The ceremony was attended by over 2,000 guests from around the world including First Lady Jill Biden.
While President Joe Biden didn’t attend, as he was simply following protocol, no sitting US president has ever attended a coronation, he did send his congratulations. He was not the only one, with many dignitaries, companies, associations and sports teams sending their well-wishes and congrats as well.
