Update:

A small fire has ignited in San Bernardino, receiving the name Brier Fire, as first responders are dispatched to extinguish the flames.

So far, the fire remains small, and no evacuation warnings or orders have been issued. The unhoused population in the area is being evacuated by first responders.

The status of the Brier Fire

According to Watch Duty, a fire tracking platform, the blaze is around three acres. Just a few minutes ago, an airdrop was made over the area in an attempt to quickly put out the fire. These airdrops come as the flames flare up in Mandeville Canyon, as the Palisades Fire continues to rage four days after igniting during a severe Santa Ana wind event.

San Bernardino County Fire reported that they are on the scene after a vegetation fire broke out on the 600 block of Brier Dr, San Bernardino. Additional resources were called in to support the effort.
