New Walmart home delivery schedules: price and delivery times

Walmart has announced it will expand home delivery hours starting this month due to the change of hour for daylight saving time. Here are all the details.

“In the fast pace of modern life, time is our most precious asset,” says Walmart. For that reason, the biggest retailer in the United States has announced that it will extend home delivery hours starting this month due to the change to daylight saving time.

The supermarket chain has a subscription (Walmart Plus), which offers a series of benefits, including two types of shipping: free shipping with any purchase amount and free same-day grocery delivery, whose delivery schedule will begin earlier.

In a statement, the company announced: “As the clocks change for daylight saving time, Walmart is stepping up to save our customers even more time with our latest delivery offering: Express On-Demand Early Morning Delivery.”

Starting at 6 a.m., earlier than ever before, customers can enjoy the convenience of On-Demand delivery. This expanded timing offers them peace of mind knowing they can get things they need at their doorstep to kickstart the day,” the press release also states.

How much does Walmart home delivery cost?

Thanks to the new measure, starting in March, customers who place an order online from 6:00 a.m. they will be able to receive certain items in 30 minutes or they can choose the time and day they want, but what is the price of the service?

While the service is free for Walmart+ members, according to CBS, customers must pay $10 for immediate delivery or $5 to receive their items within three hours .

According to Walmart’s statement, there are “hundreds of thousands of items available in-store and hundreds of millions more online.” Customers can get what they need in the early hours of the morning, from fashion to furniture and more, in as little as 30 minutes. For example: baby essentials, work clothes, appliances, outdoor supplies, including live bait starting in mid-March, and many more.

“With Walmart’s On-Demand Early Morning Delivery and a suite of other convenient options, we’re making sure you have what you need, when you need it so you can reclaim your time no matter what the clock says,” the biggest brick-and-mortar retailer in the US states.
