She saw ICE agents abandon a 12-year-old boy on the sidewalk after a raid: “As a mother, it makes me sick.”
The case of a minor who was abandoned on the street by ICE agents after they took the adult who was accompanying him has gone viral.

ICE raids continue to cause outrage in communities across the United States.
One case that has gone viral on social media involves a 12-year-old boy who was left on the sidewalk after ICE agents arrested and detained the adult accompanying him. The incident occurred on May 4th in Waltham, Massachusetts.
The tragic scene caught on camera
Fortunately, Neighborhood Watch volunteers witnessed the raid and accompanied the boy home, ensuring he arrived safely and was informed of his rights.
The moment was captured on video by Waltham Councilwoman Colleen Bradley-MacArthur, who claims the agents tried to intimidate her when they saw her recording. “He looks about the same age as my son. It turns my stomach as a mother, as a human being,” Bradley-MacArthur said. “[The agents] rolled down their windows, had their cell phones out, and were recording and taking pictures of us. I realized what they were trying to do. They were trying to intimidate me with their car,” she added.

The agents refused to identify themselves
According to Bradley-MacArthur, one of the agents got out of the vehicle, and she asked him to identify himself. However, the agent ignored her request, even though all federal authorities are required to give their names. She continued to observe until the incident ended.
“In the video, I made sure not to interfere. I am exercising my right to observe and document what happens in our community,” Bradley-MacArthur stated. Once the case went viral, the Waltham police issued a statement clarifying that their officers were not involved in the incident, as they are prohibited from performing tasks that fall under federal jurisdiction, such as ICE’s immigration enforcement efforts.
