TD Bank, the 10th largest bank, has announced the shuttering of over three dozen branches before the summer in order to streamline operations.

TD Bank has been shaking up its leadership after it was fined over $3 billion and pled guilty last year to criminal money laundry charges for failing to prevent illegal transactions by drug cartels and other criminals. It has also had to slow plans to open 150 new branches by 2027.
