This man’s car was parked for two weeks and he was shocked when he saw the odometer
The incident occurred south of Paris, when a couple left their car in a private car park to go on holiday.

Robert and his partner will long remember their holiday to Guadeloupe, but above all, their unpleasant experience upon returning to France. The couple, originally from the north of France, were shocked to discover that their SUV, which they had left in a car park near Paris-Orly airport, had been used without their consent and had an extra 750 kilometres on the clock.
Before leaving, the pair opted for an alternative solution to park their vehicle for the two week holiday. The official car parks at the Parisian airport was too expensive, so they turned to the parking platform Parkos, which enabled them to find a space in the Orly Navette car park, located in Athis-Mons (Essonne, south of Paris), for an attractive price of €84. According to the description of the service, the place was monitored by cameras and had good online reviews, which generated confidence.
A ‘bad feeling’
However, Robert had a bad feeling about the experience before flying and as a manner of precaution, photographed the distance gauge of his car before handing it over. On returning to France, his suspicions were confirmed: the vehicle was not in the same place and had traveled an additional 750 kilometers. When he asked the employee who received his keys for an explanation, he only received an evasive answer: “I don’t know.”
Faced with this situation, the couple went to the police station to file a complaint. Upon investigation, they discovered that they were not the only ones affected. Dozens of customers have reported similar experiences with the same parking service, Parkos.
This case has revived the debate on the security and transparency of parking services near French airports. The authorities have now launched an investigation to clarify the facts and determine the responsibilities of the company managing the car park.
