Joan Fontaine’s longtime Carmel Highlands, (California) home is up for sale with a listing price of nearly $6 million.


The mansion owned by Hollywood actress Joan Fontaine, best known for her roles in Alfred Hitchcock’s films “Rebecca” and “Suspicion,” for which she won an Academy Award is up for sale.
Fontaine died in 2013 and owned the coastal home from 1984 until her death at 96 years old with the luxury residence currently on the market for $6 million.

The property was then acquired by CoCo Wood in 2014 for a fee reported to be close to $2 million.
Built in 1965 and perched on a hillside close to Carmel-By-The-Sea (California), the home’s most striking feature is its view of the Pacific Ocean and the 4,700-square-foot home boasts four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one half-bathroom. The 1-acre property is gated and also has a detached two-car garage.
