Donald Trump, known both for his career as a businessman and later as a political figure, has often been in the spotlight due to his private life, including his relationships, marriages, and the controversies surrounding them.

The former president has been married three times: first to Ivana Trump, who passed away in 2022, then to Marla Maples, and currently to Melania Trump. From these marriages, Trump has five children and ten grandchildren.

Donald Trump’s Marriages

Ivana Trump
Donald’s first wife was Ivana Trump. They were married from 1977 until their divorce in 1992 and had three children: Donald Jr., born in 1977; Ivanka, born in 1981; and Eric, born in 1984.

Ivana, born on February 20, 1949, in Czechoslovakia, was a model, skier, celebrity, writer, designer, and businesswoman. She passed away on July 14, 2022, at age 73, following an accidental fall in her Manhattan home.

Marla Maples
Trump’s second marriage was to Marla Maples. They wed in December 1993, two months after the birth of their daughter Tiffany, who is now 31 years old.

The couple separated in 1997, and their divorce was finalised in 1999. Marla Maples, born on October 27, 1963, is an American actress, television personality, model, singer, and presenter.

Melania Trump
Donald’s third and current wife is Melania Trump, a Slovenian-American former model.

The couple married on January 22, 2005, and have one son, Barron, born on March 20, 2006. Melania, born on April 26, 1970, in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, served as First Lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

She was the first naturalised citizen to become first lady, the second foreign-born first lady after Louisa Adams, and the second Catholic first lady after Jacqueline Kennedy.
