Zumper, an online rental site, publishes a National Rent Report which found Austin had the highest prices in the state for one-bedroom rentals at $1,590 per month. As for two-bedroom rentals, Dallas is the most expensive market in Texas at $2,130 a month. That seems like a bargain when compared to New York where a one-bedroom rental would run you $3,570 or San Francisco where a two-bedroom will set you back $4,000 per month.
