When did Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton get married?
The couple started dating years ago, back in 2014 and tied the knot a few years ago
Gwen and Blake have had their ups and downs, but they’re still a power couple that everyone is talking about at the 2024 Super Bowl.
“Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician?” Shelton told Billboard back in 2016, “You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces.”
Stefani and Shelton were married on July 23, 2021. While Stefani may have the bigger name outside of the US, Shelton is a famous country singer who holds the record for the number of consecutive number 1 singles in the country chart with an almighty 17.
On the ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, Stefani went into some more detail of the early days of the relationship between the two.
“That was my first public date with Blake Shelton, actually,” she revealed to Clarkson. “It was the Oscars Vanity Fair party. I think I played at the party and then we went out that night.”
She continued, “He never does red carpets, now that I know him...That always melts me when I see it because it’s, like, such a moment for me. A good one.”
“I’m gonna be brutally honest. When I first came on The Voice [in 2014], I didn’t know that Blake even existed really in the world,” she told NBC Insider back in September.
