Tucker Carlson has broken his silence following his dismissal from Fox News by posting a two-minute video on Twitter.

The rambling monologue hinted that his firing was a result of the repression of discussions about the truth. However, the top-rated host did not directly make any statement about the reasons for his separation from the media outlet.

“The other thing you notice is... how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They’re completely irrelevant, they mean nothing. In five years we won’t even remember that we had them,” Carlson said.

“The unbelievably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all… Debates like that are not permitted in American media. Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it,” Carlson added.
