Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination and he came out with guns blazing.

At a town hall in New Hampshire, he described himself as the only presidential hopeful who is willing to attack former President Donald Trump.

Christie: ‘The grift is breathtaking’

“I am going out there to take down Donald Trump,” said Christie.

He proceeded to slam Trump’s daughter Ivanka, and her husband Jared Kushner.

The grift from this family is breathtaking… Jared Kushner and Ivanka Kushner walk out of the White House, and months later get $2 billion from the Saudis.”

Christie was alluding to the $2 billion investment made by the Saudi-backed Public Investment Fund into Kushner’s company.

Congress announced an investigation last year to find out if the ex-president’s son-in-law used his position as a government official to facilitate the transaction. Kushner had worked as a Middle East policy adviser to his father-in-law.
