Laura Ingraham has been in broadcasting for nearly three decades. She is currently the host of The Ingraham Angle which is one of the highest rated cable TV news programs. Her salary is second only to that of Sean Hannity at the Fox News channel.

Ingraham has been expressing her conservative political views, many of which over the years have been found controversial, since she attended Dartmouth College in the 1980s. There she managed and wrote for The Dartmouth Review, a conservative student paper. She was also a speechwriter in the Regan administration for several years starting in 1985 after which she got a law degree.

She would go on to clerk for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and later join an international law firm. However, most of her career has been spent in journalism moving from print to television, first at MSNBC, then CBS, before landing at Fox News in 2007.

In between she delved into radio as well where her show would also garner a large following reaching fifth for audience size. She has also authored six books since 2000, three of which have gone on to become New York Times Best Sellers. In 2015, along with businessman Peter Anthony, she launched the conservative news website LifeZette.
