When does the new Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny premiere? New clip revealed

With Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge starring alongside Harrison Ford, fans are getting Indy fever ahead of the global release.

Indiana Jones

First there was Raiders of the Lost Ark. Then came the Temple of Doom. Sean Connery got involved to create the trilogy in the Last Crusade and then we sat through the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Now we are all set for the fifth in the franchise with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Harrison Ford will pick up his hat and whip once again, albeit moving a little more gingerly at the age of 80, and movie goers are readying themselves for ticket buying as soon as they become available.

When is Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny released?

The latest Indiana Jones movie is slated for official release on 30 June 2023, although it will premiere before then. As the 2023 Cannes Film Festival gets underway in France, the Lucasfilm production will get its first airing to a public audience, scheduled to be on the evening of Thursday 18 May.

How long does Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny last?

Everyone is hoping that this new adventure is a goodie, especially as it runs for longer than any of those that came before it. The movie lasts two hours and 34 minutes, almost half an hour more than the Last Crusade, the previous longest.

As well as the official trailer above, you can check out the latest clip to be released, which includes the obligatory car chase and a bunch of baddies getting hurt. As you can see, the star of the very popular Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is shown as Helena Shaw trying to get that special ‘dial’ back after it was stolen.

Who else is involved in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny?

The cast, along with Ford and Waller-Bridge includes Mads Mikkelsen as Jurgen Voller, Antonio Banderas as Renaldo, John Rhys-Davies as Sallah, Shaunette Renee Wilson as Mason, Thomas Kretschmann as Colonel Weber, Toby Jones as Basil Shaw and Boyd Holbrook as Klaber.

Once we’ve seen it we’ll be back with a review...
