P. Diddy’s trial: who are Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyers?

Leading Diddy’s legal team is Marc Antony Agnifilo of the law firm Agnifilo Intrater. Marc has over 30 years of experience as an attorney. He earned his law degree in 1990 from Brooklyn Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Connecticut College (1986).

According to his website, his portfolio includes “complicated and serious criminal cases, investigations and financial regulatory matters in U.S. District Courts throughout the United States, in State Courts in New York and New Jersey, and in other countries.”

Some of Agnifilo’s more controversial cases include representing Keith Raniere, leader of the NXIVM sex cult, and Martin Shkreli, known as the “Pharma Bro,” among others. Interestingly, Marc is married to Karen Friedman-Agnifilo, the lead defense attorney for Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The rest of Diddy’s defense team includes Teny Geragos, who has experience in cases involving sexual misconduct allegations; Alexandra Shapiro; and Brian Steel, who gained prominence for representing rapper Young Thug in the YSL Records racketeering trial—the longest trial in Georgia’s history.
