With just two more days, the Democratic National Convention will kick off Night 3 with speeches from major party leaders and figures. Former President Bill Clinton is expected to speak, as is former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her successor House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies, and many more.

Hillary Clinton announced that her husband would be speaking on behalf of them both tonight. Previous predictions of the event’s schedule had considered that both would speak, as Barack and Michelle Obama did yesterday.

The headliner of tonight’s event will be Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who was selected as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate earlier this month. The duo has quickly caught up to Donald Trump in many swing state polls, and the party hopes the continued excitement within the base will fuel a win this November. With a little over two months until election day, the race is still up for grabs, with the debates set to be the next key moment for each campaign.

Senator Amy Klobuchar, another Minnesotan, will speak tonight, and her words will likely be focused on the work of Governor Walz. The two served in Washington together from 2008 to 2019.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will also take the stage tonight. Secretary Buttigieg was one of the candidates under consideration to be VP Harris’ running mate and has emerged as one of her strongest surrogates on the campaign trail after she was confirmed as the Democrats’ nominee.

The convention will also hear from a major rising star within the party, Maryland Governor Wes Moore.

Where to stream the event

Tonight’s program will begin at 5:00 pm CDT and is expected to wrap around 10 pm CDT. The DNC and CSPAN will be live streaming on YouTube for those looking for a free option.

Many of the speeches this evening will also be streamed across the major networks with live commentary.
