The Social Security Administration continues to send benefits for January 2025. The agency gives out money every month to millions of beneficiaries, including retirees, survivors, and those receiving Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income.

The government agency has already sent the January payment to Supplemental Security Income recipients, as well as retirees who began receiving their payments before May 1997 and those with birth dates between the 1st and the 10th of the month.

The Social Security Administration has three more payments left to distribute this month, and one of them is an advance benefit. Find out who will receive it and when.

On Jan. 15, the Social Security Administration will send the payment to beneficiaries with a birth date between the 11th and the 20th, while on Jan. 22, it will send the retirement benefit to people with a birth date between the 21st and the 31st.

An advance payment for February will be sent on Friday, Jan. 31 for beneficiaries of the Supplemental Security Income program.

Because Feb. 1 is a Saturday, the payment for that month is sent in advance, on the business day before.

  • 65 years old, from $3,374
