Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 wraps up filming

Although the series does not yet have an official premiere date, it has already completed production and is expected to debut before the end of the year.

Update:
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 wraps up filming

For Star Wars fans, the calendar points to one of the most anticipated series of the year, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will arrive in May on Disney+. Further down the line, there are other products planned, including the third season of The Mandalorian. According to Star Wars Stuff, the latest stories of Din Djarin and company have already finished filming. The information has been corroborated by Carl Weathers, Greff Karga in the fiction, as well as the director of several episodes.

Weathers has stoked the anticipation in his message: "...And what a season of WONDERFULNESS," he tweeted.

The first news about the conclusion of the filming has appeared on Instagram, where a member of the wardrobe department has posted a picture and confirmed the end of the production. However, the publication has been deleted, not fast enough to prevent the media from reporting it. In the coming months, Lucasfilm will continue to work on post-production, still without a release date announced by the company.

The Book of Boba Fett points to The Mandaloarian.

2022 began with The Mandalorian's first spin-off series, The Book of Boba Fett. Although it premiered late last year, the season didn't wrap up until weeks later. The new adventure of the bounty hunter, now reconverted into a crime boss on Tatooine, also paved the way for The Mandalorian, as Mando and Grogu have their own plot in this series. After his training with Luke Skywalker, the little guy is back with Din Djarin.

The Star Wars schedule for 2022 has not yet been fully finalized. After Obi-Wan Kenobi (starting May 25) several series remain to be released: Star Wars: Andor, the second season of The Bad Batch and new episodes of The Mandalorian. Other productions in the works include the two High Republic series and Star Wars: Ahsoka, among others not yet officially known.
