Hogwarts Legacy reveals all of its PC specs required to play the game

The magic has been done, but it depends on every player to find out how it will show up on your screen depending on your PC’s hardware. Warner Bros. Games is getting ready for Hogwarts Legacy’s launch and to do so they’ve just shared the minimum and recommended specs for PC players. They’ve also included some information about the required hardware to be able to play the game in its most powerful graphics configurations.

Every Hogwarts Legacy PC specs

Minimum Specs (720p at 30FPS):

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 6600 (3.3 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 GB or AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB
  • DirectX Version: DX 12
  • Storage: 85 GB HDD
  • Notes: SSD (preferred), HDD (Supported), Low-Quality Settings.

Recommended (1080p at 60FPS):

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 8700 (3.2 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 4
  • DirectX Version: DX 12
  • Storage: 85 GB HDD
  • Notes: SSD, High-Quality Settings.

Ultra Specs (1440p at 60FPS):

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 10700K (3.80 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 5800
  • RAM: 32GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800
  • DirectX Version: DX 12

  • Notes: SSD, Ultra-Quality Settings.

Ultra 4K Specs (4K at 60FPS):

Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on February 10. On April 4 the Xbox One and PS4 versions will be launched, while Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a few more months until July 25.

Warner Bros. Games has also revealed that Phineas Nigellus Black, the headmaster at Hogwarts in the era where the game takes place, will be played by none other than Simon Pegg.
