Someone made a 2D demake of Resident Evil 4, and you can play it for free

Bio Evil 4 is an entirely free demake of Resident Evil 4 that manages to capture the charm and style of the original (and its new remake), and you can play for free.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is one of the best games of the year so far with barely two weeks on the market and more than 3 million copies sold in its first weekend. It was highly anticipated because the original is a legend, but while the new version is incredible there are those who prefer the classic, like the user who created Bio Evil 4, a demake that reimagines the Capcom title with 80s graphics and in two dimensions.

Although when you start the game the title is Bio Evil 4, it is impossible to be fooled: villagers with knives, scythes, and sticks of dynamite, bear traps, a typewriter as a checkpoint, Plagas... and a mysterious blond-haired police officer who once again does not start a job on the right foot. Resident Evil 4 Remake: the classics never die

A 9 out of 10 in our review is not a small thing; We liked the game a lot and in our conclusions we highlighted stuff like “the updates in combat that give us more options and reaction capacity: it’s a joy to face waves of enemies with the tools we have” and the fact of maintaining “the oppression and tension of the original game with a great setting.” In short, we think that “it is a tribute and an update of one of the greatest classics of third-person action, capable of improving almost everything it touches on and lovingly rebuilding what needed a facelift”.
