Hapless Rockies finally record first series win of the 2025 season
The Coloradio team are on track to break a MLB record for the most defeats in a regular season.

The Colorado Rockies are on track to write a unique page in the MLB history books but for fans of The Rox, this will have nothing to do with winning a World Series of establishing new batting records.
The Coloradio team are set to break a MLB (since 1901) record for the most defeats in a regular season.
The Rockies have yet to reach 10 wins this season.

Change of fortune for Colorado?
The ongoing message from Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer that the team was due for a change of fortune seems to becoming true after they recorded their first series win of the season.
With their series in Florida against the Marline, Colorado won two straight games for just the second time in 2025 and are on track for their first series sweep Thursday afternoon.
A 6-4 win on Tuesday was followed up by a 3-2 win on Wednesday as Tyler Freeman had three hits for the Rockies, Goodman and Jordan Beck finished with two hits apiece and Victor Vodnik (1-1) got the victory with 1 1/3 innings of relief. Jesus Sanchez and Kyle Stowers had two hits apiece for Miami, which has dropped three in a row.
