Major League Baseball’s showcase showdown is tonight as the top talent in the game converge on Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles for the All-Star Game. The first pitch will be thrown by hometown hero, Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw just after 8:00 p.m. ET.

Judge and Acuna the top vote getters in AL and NL

If you are in the Los Angeles area, it’s not too late to scoop up some tickets to the Mid Summer Classic. According to vividseats.com there are plenty of tickets available, some more modestly priced than others.

The chance to get to see the best players in the world on the same field for a night is a special occasion that baseball fans would be hard pressed to pass up, so ticket prices might be higher than your average ticket price for a regular game. In 2022, the average ticket to an LA Dodgers game will run you about 150 bucks, but regular season games don’t have the star power tonight’s game will.

Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves were the top vote getters in the All-Star balloting. Meanwhile you have Clayton Kershaw on the mound for the NL, and Tampa Bay’s Shane McClanahan will start for the AL.

Pricey tix, but the dogs and beer ain’t bad

The cheapest tickets are located in the nose bleeds of Dodger Stadium. And while you may not be able to hear the fast balls zipping from the pitchers’ mound to the catchers’ met, you can get a ticket for around $200.

Just about all around the upper section of Dodger Stadium, you can find tickets for $204 dollars a pop. Those are the cheapest tickets you are bound to come across, but when you take into account the type of talent that will be on display in tonight’s All-Star Game that’s really not a terrible deal.

The good news is once you’re in the stadium, the concessions are relatively reasonably priced in Dodger Stadium. While I couldn’t find the price for peanuts or Cracker Jacks, the price of a hot dog and a beer is the same. Unless there is a big promotion (like you see below) both cost $6.75, which is right around average if not lower than most stadiums around the league.

Dugout seats will cost a small fortune

If you are looking to have a lavish time at this year’s edition of the Mid Summer Classic, than you can get the big baller tickets that according to vivdseats.com are going for $5,850. You can find those seats in Row AA, right behind the visitors dugout. If you’re willing to cough up that kind of cash you earn the right to hear the managers making decision, watch the team celebrate home runs and if your lucky maybe even have a chat with your favorite ball players.

Tonight’s All-Star Game starts at 8:00 p.m. ET, 5:00 p.m. PT from Dodger Stadium. The league has added a bit of excitement to the contest if a tie were to occur at the end of nine innings. If both teams are level at the end of the bottom of the ninth then it will go down to a Home Run Derby.
