The 2023 World Baseball Classic game between Italy and Japan will be played at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, on Thursday 16 March. It’s scheduled to get underway at:

Japan breezed through the group stage, winning Pool B with a 100% record. They will now look to maintain their record of never failing to reach the World Baseball Classic semi-finals.

As for Italy, who have only once previously made it through the first round, they survived a five-way tie in Pool B to book their quarter-final berth.
