Josh Donaldson has officially announced his retirement from Major League Baseball, following a distinguished 13-year career during which he garnered numerous accolades, including the American League MVP award in 2015 when he led MLB in runs scored and RBIs. Additionally, he received the Silver Slugger Award and was selected to the All-Star Game three times.

Donaldson had declared himself a free agent after featuring for the New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Brewers in recent seasons. He is remembered for being a standout third baseman between 2013 and 2017.
