Tampa Bay Rays’ first players lost to MLB free agency for the 2024 season

These players had been placed on the waiver list and were claimed by interested teams. Along with them becoming free agents, these movements have been confirmed so far.
The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following roster moves: Jalen Beeks claimed off waivers by Colorado, Christian Bethancourt claimed off waivers by Cleveland, Josh Fleming claimed off waivers by Philadelphia. Tristan Gray, Cole Sulser and Raimel Tapia will become free agents.

- Catcher Christian Bethancourt, headed to the Cleveland Guardians
