Update:

Real Madrid set off for Munich on Tuesday morning, where they will face Bayern the next day in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, and they will do so without Raúl Asencio. The center back was not included in Álvaro Arbeloa’s squad list, although the club has yet to announce the reason for his absence.

His omission is not expected to affect the coach’s initial plans, with Antonio Rüdiger and Éder Militão set to start at the Allianz Arena, though it could become a factor if any issues arise over the course of the game.

The Madrid delegation is scheduled to land in Germany around midday and will head to the Allianz Arena later in the day, where Arbeloa and one player will speak to the media at 12:15 p.m. ET. The team will then complete its final training session on the pitch at 1:00 p.m. ET ahead of the game against Bayern.

Real Madrid squad for Munich

Goalkeepers: Lunin, Fran González, Javi Navarro.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Trent, Á. Carreras, Fran García, Rüdiger, Mendy, Huijsen.

Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Arda Güler, D. Ceballos, Thiago.

Forwards: Vini Jr., Mbappé, Gonzalo, Brahim, Mastantuono
