Who is throwing the ceremonial first pitch for Game 7 of the MLB World Series?
MLB legends return for ceremonial first pitch as Los Angeles and Toronto face off in decisive Game 7.

The 2025 World Series will conclude on Saturday, November 1, with the Los Angeles Dodgers facing the Toronto Blue Jays in a decisive Game 7. Adding to the excitement, two Blue Jays legends will return to Toronto to perform the ceremonial first pitch.
Molitor and Morris return to Toronto
Seven-time All-Star Paul Molitor spent three seasons with the Blue Jays between 1993 and 1995, winning both the World Series and World Series MVP in his first year in Canada.
The 69-year-old, who retired from playing in 1998, holds the best postseason batting average in MLB history among players with more than 100 at-bats at .368. Molitor also ranks 10th on the all-time MLB career hits list.
Molitor will be joined for the ceremonial first pitch by five-time All-Star Jack Morris. Morris played for the Blue Jays for two seasons, winning the World Series both years in 1992 and 1993. He also won the championship with the Minnesota Twins in 1991, making him one of just 10 players to win back-to-back World Series with different teams.
Morris has the highest career ERA among pitchers in the Baseball Hall of Fame and was inducted in 2018.
Dodgers force a decisive Game 7
Los Angeles forced a final game after a 3-1 victory over Toronto in Game 6 at Rogers Centre on Friday. The Dodgers recovered from consecutive home losses to set up a winner-take-all matchup. In Game 6, pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivered a standout performance, outdueling Blue Jays counterpart Kevin Gausman.
Pitching matchups for Game 7
The Dodgers are expected to start Shohei Ohtani on short rest. Under the two-way rule, starting Ohtani allows him to remain in the game as the designated hitter after exiting as a pitcher. Max Scherzer is set to start for Toronto.
Historic stakes on the line
Toronto, the American League champions, are chasing their third World Series title, more than 30 years after back-to-back triumphs in 1992 and 1993. Meanwhile, Los Angeles, the National League winners, aim to become the first team in 25 years to win consecutive championships after defeating the New York Yankees last year.
