Anthony Davis listed on Mavericks’ final injury report ahead of Play-In vs Kings
The No. 10 Dallas Mavericks will face the No. 9 Sacramento Kings tonight - here’s how their new star is looking ahead of the game.

The Dallas Mavericks will either move on to the next round of the Play-In tonight, or they’ll end their season. The Mavs landed at 10th in the Western Conference, forcing them into a Play-In spot, and will face the No. 9 Sacramento Kings tonight.
The winner will go on to face the Memphis Grizzlies in second round of the Play-In, with the No. 8 seed on the line. The winner of that game will then go on to play the No. 1 OKC Thunder in the first round of the playoffs. But before they get there, they’ll need a win tonight.

Mavericks injury report ahead of Play-In
Unfortunately for the Mavericks, they don’t have a good track record against the Kings this season, having lost all three of their games in the regular season. On top of that, two key Mavs players have gotten hurt during games against the Kings.
Heading into tonight’s game, however, the Mavs are relatively healthy with only a few players on the injury report who will actually miss the game. One name stands out on the list, however, and that’s Anthony Davis.
Davis was the subject of the controversial trade Dallas made to bring him to the team by trading superstar Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. The game in which he injured himself also happened to be his debut in Dallas. He’s since been able to play, but his status is still listed as probable ahead of the Play-In.

Officially out are Kyrie Irving - whose ACL injury sustaind during a Kings game ruled him out for the rest of the season, and potentially even into next season - and Olivier-Maxence Prosper, who had to have season-ending surgery to his wrist in March. Brandon Williams, who the Mavs signed to a standard NBA contract last week, is questionable with an oblique strain.
Missing from the injury report are Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, Dante Exum, Jaden Hardy, and P.J. Washington, who all suffered injuries earlier this season.
The Mavericks and Kings will face off at 10 p.m. ET with the winner facing the Grizzlies on Friday.
