DUI and cocaine, Marcus Jordan arrested: “I’m Michael Jordan’s son”
The 34-year-old was booked in Orange County, Florida and footage shows him allegedly resisting arrest when confronted in a blue Lamborghini SUV.

Marcus Jordan, son of NBA icon Michael Jordan, is in hot water and facing a number of serious criminal charges after a late-night traffic stop in Orlando, Florida.
CBS News reports that the 34-year-old fled a traffic traffic stop in a blue Lamborghini SUV and was seen soon after on nearby train tracks. Officers approached and reported that Jordan was spinning the wheels in an attempt to free himself.
Fearing for his safety officers approached the car and smelt alcohol as Jordan rolled down the window. He insisted that he had made a wrong turn and needed help. The report adds that his speech was slurred and his eyes looked bloodshot.
Video footage of the incident shows Jordan saying: “I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong,” before adding, “I’m just trying to get home, and I made a wrong turn.”
What are the charges against Marcus Jordan?
After finally exiting the vehicle Jordan reportedly refused to comply to a search and jammed his leg into the police car’s door to prevent it closing. Most significantly, a white powdery substance was found in a small bag in Jordan’s pockets. Officials tested it using a field drug wipe and it tested positive for cocaine.
Jordan was taken to the Orange County, Florida DUI Center in the car, during which time he sang in a slurred voice. He was briefly taken to Orange County jail before being released after posting bail.
He has been charged with driving under the influence, a DUI crash with property damage, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer without violence. Neither he nor any many of his family have issued a statement on the incident.
