Former NBA champion calls for ‘public hanging’ of Sydney shooters
The ex-Warriors star made his feelings clear on the tragedy that unfolded on the Australian coast.

Grief and anger have swept through Australia and beyond after a deadly terrorist attack at Bondi Beach claimed the lives of numerous people, wounded dozens more and reignited global debates about antisemitism and gun laws.
On the evening of December 14, a number of armed assailants opened fire on a crowd celebrating the first night of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah in a park beside Bondi Beach, one of Sydney’s most iconic coastlines.
The tragedy has prompted an urgent review of gun laws and efforts to strengthen community security.

Have to have the main stream media version events rather than live feeds just in case the truth gets out without any spin.
RIP to the people caught up in this BS.
Publicly hang the shooters if still alive.
“Publicly hang the shooters if still alive”
Amid the widespread condemnation from political leaders and religious communities worldwide, reactions from some public figures have sparked additional controversy. Former NBA champion Andrew Bogut, a Melbourne native who spent 14 seasons in the elite north American league, took to social media to express his shock at the violence. In a post on the platform X he urged authorities to “publicly hang the shooters if still alive”, a call that drew sharp criticism for its rhetoric and potential to inflame tensions in an already volatile moment of Australian history.
“X being heavily sensored amidst this shooting in Bondi, Australia,” Bogut wrote on Twitter. “Have to have the main stream media version events rather than live feeds just in case the truth gets out without any spin. RIP to the people caught up in this BS. Publicly hang the shooters if still alive.”
He added: “Thinking you can vote your way out of this mess is beyond naive," and “The #1 priority for reform is staring us all in the face….our border security and who tf we let in our Country."
Aside from tweeting himself, Bogut has also been retweeting various accounts expressing sorrow and anger of the tragic events.
