What injury does Giannis have?
Speaking to reporters postgame, the Milwaukee forward said an MRI would determine the full extent of the issue but expects it to confirm damage in his calf. Antetokounmpo added that he has been told he will likely be placed on a recovery protocol that could sideline him for more than a month.
Despite the setback, the two-time MVP was already focused on his rehabilitation. He said he plans to “work my butt off” once cleared to begin ramping up, with a tentative target of returning toward the end of February or early March.
