A product of Cajun country in south Louisiana, Jeff played football through high school, and baseball through college and beyond. After getting a BFA from the Savannah College of Art & Design, he moved to London, where he worked for Sky Sports and coached the 2005 British Champion Croydon Pirates baseball team. He also cooks a mean jambalaya.
Update:

After working out with the team, the former Golden State Warrior and newest Laker signee Juan Toscano-Anderson spoke with the media about how it is all going.

“We’re still kind of learning one another but the IQ, the level of thinking is still very high, the intensity level is still very high, the attention to detail is still at a championship level.”

After three seasons, and a championship ring, with the Golden State Warriors, many thought that he had the talent to make their starting lineup, but with such a stacked house it was just not to be. Asked about his chances of making the starting five for the Lakers, JTA replied, “Everybody wants to start, let’s not sit here and act like guys don’t want to start. Now, is starting the biggest deal in the world? No. Everybody just wants to play.”

That is not to say that he is resigned to anything, clarifying that he will be fighting as hard as anybody for the job.
