Long suffering Sacramento fans have driven the ticket prices for the Kings vs Warriors playoff series to record heights. As the series moves to the Bay Area, there is some respite from the sky-high Sacramento ticket prices, but not much.
While the average price for Game 1 was $575, that number falls to only $371 as the series moves to the Chase Center in San Francisco. The cheapest get-in will set you back $203 according to StubHub.
This series is on track to be the highest-value in the NBA playoffs, outpacing the Knicks-Cavs by as much as a fifth.
With all four California teams in the playoffs for the first time ever, this is a historic year. And with the Kings’ first post season visit in 16 years, the northern California series is the one to plump for. If you can afford it, that is.
