Luka’s trash talk in first game against Dallas Mavericks leaked: Here’s what the former Mav said
The Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in one of the most shocking midseason trades in history, and Luka got his revenge last week.

It’s been a few days since the Dallas Mavericks went to Crypto.com Arena in the first of what will be many matchups between the Mavs and Los Angeles Lakers in post-Luka trade era.
Luka gets his revenge
The Lakers won that game in what looked like it was going to be a blow out but the Mavs came battling back in the fourth quarter to make it a contest. Luka wasted no time exacting revenge on his former team, and you could see he wanted to make the Mavs feel and hear his presence.
Luka almost had a triple-double in the first half of the game, as he came out swinging for the fences. He sank a couple of early buckets, and you could see he was warming up, not just his jumper but his trash talk too.
One of the most memorable moments of the night came in the first quarter when there was a scramble for the loose ball which ended up in the hands of Luka. He pulled the trigger from long distance, stuck the three and looked immediately to the his former coach Jason Kidd and the Mavs bench saying “That’s what I f**king do.”

While it’s unknown if he was talking to Kidd, or Nico Harrison who was responsible for trading Luka in the middle of the night, the emotion and the anger was evident.

Just moments after Luka’s bucket and subsequent trash talk, ashot of Mavs former majority owner and now partial owner Mark Cuban was on screen with a rye smile on his face. Cuban brought Luka to town, and banked on him being the face of the franchise. Since giving up a majority stake he had no say in the trade, but his face said it all.
Luka and the Lakers went on to win the game 107-99 as Luka registered is first triple-double as a Laker with 19, 15 and 12 assists. While Doncic dominated across the board it was LeBron who took over in the 4th quarter and led the Lakers to the win.
