The 2026 NBA Playoffs have reached the Conference Finals, as the lead-up to the long-awaited championship series begins. The league’s top teams will face off with the dream of lifting the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
East set: Cavaliers vs. Knicks
The New York Knicks were the first team to punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals after completing a sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers with a dominant 144–114 win in the final game.
The New York squad showed their offensive firepower throughout the series. Miles McBride knocked down seven of nine three-pointers to finish with 25 points. Jalen Brunson added 22, while Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in 17 points apiece in Game 4.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers had to fight their way back after falling into a 0–2 hole against the top-seeded Detroit Pistons. They ultimately turned the series around and sealed it in Game 7.
West set: Spurs vs. Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder were the next to advance, sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers 4–0 in the Western Conference.
In the other series, which featured plenty of drama, the San Antonio Spurs, led by Victor Wembanyama, defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards, in six games.
