The incomings and outgoings from a busy summer for the Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers have been active in the NBA summer transfer market with the latest confirmed arrival being point guard Marcus Smart.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a busy time over the summer months with the latest confirmed arrival being that of point guard Marcus Smart. The 31-year-old joins the LA team after agreeing to a contract termination with the Washington Wizards and moves on a two-year contract in exchange for 11 million dollars.

In order to seal his arrival, the Californian quintet released point guard Shake Milton, who, if he remained on the roster, would have secured a guaranteed $3 million contract for next season.
The first signing to join the team was Jake LaRavia, who arrived from the Sacramento Kings, on a 2-year agreement for $12 million.

The second confirmed signing was Deandre Ayton, who arrived from the Portland Trail Blazers, with a contract that provides sees him pocket 34 million dollars.
Additionally, the Lakers brought back Jaxson Hayes, the center became a free agent at the end of last season and secured a one-year contract for three million dollars.

They finally added Adou Thiero, who was drafted in the last NBA Draft, who was originally selected with the 36th pick by the Brooklyn Nets, but after a series of changes they reached an agreement for the player.
Outgoings
On the other side of the coin, the Lakers’ first free agency loss was Dorian Finney-Smith, who reached an agreement with the Houston Rockets on a 4-year contract worth $53 million with Shake Milton waived by the Los Angeles franchise last weekend.
