On Tuesday we find out the order of the selections as Chicago plays host to the league with the Rockets, Magic and Pistons to be out early.
Ahead of the order of selections for the 2022 NBA Draft being found out on Tuesday 17 May, some people are asking for more details on first pick odds ahead of the lottery in Chicago. Well, when the draft hits on 23 June, it’s a 14% chance for Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons to get the draft No. 1 pick, with them all guaranteed a top-five pick in the draft after the new rules to reduce tanking from teams.
Houston had posted the league’s worst regular-season record (20-62), with Orlando (22-60) and Detroit (23-59) coming next.
