Will Anthony Edwards play today for the Timberwolves vs. Raptors? Star guard suffers new injury
Minnesota lists its leading scorer as questionable for Wednesday in Toronto, with another key starter also uncertain to play.

Anthony Edwards is once again listed as questionable for the Minnesota Timberwolves’ game at the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, but not for the same reason he carried the tag ahead of Monday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
The shooting guard poured in a game-high 39 points on 13-of-27 shooting, adding seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and three 3-pointers against Memphis. Unfortunately for Minnesota, it still was not enough to come away with a win.
What new injury does Anthony Edwards have?
Edwards had been questionable for Monday’s game because of a back injury but was ultimately able to log 40 minutes and showed no obvious signs of being limited by the issue.
This time, however, the Timberwolves are dealing with something new.
Minnesota revealed that the 24-year-old picked up a fresh injury during Monday’s game, leaving his status uncertain for Wednesday night in Toronto.
Edwards appears on the injury report again, but now due to left elbow soreness. It does not sound serious, but Timberwolves coach Chris Finch will still be wary as his star continues to accumulate bumps and bruises during a demanding stretch of the season.
Randle also questionable for Toronto
To make matters worse, fellow All-Star Julius Randle is also listed as questionable for the trip to Canada. The forward is dealing with soreness in his left thumb.
If Edwards and Randle ultimately are unable to play against the Raptors, Minnesota will hope to have both back for Friday’s road matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.
