NCAA 2024
College football: When does the 2024 NCAA season begin?
Here’s all the information regarding the start of the 2024 NCAA season.
While some may still be getting over the nerves and tension from last season, it’s time to get pumped up and ready for the upcoming campaign in the NCAA.
Michigan beat Washington 34-13 in what was a final for the ages at NRG Stadium in January. The Michigan Wolverines claimed their 10th National Championship in program history, with Jim Harbaugh, J.J. McCarthy, and Blake Corum leading the team to bring the title back to Ann Arbor for the first time since 1997.
Since then, at AS USA, we’ve been anxious for the upcoming action.
The 2024 NCAA college football season is set to begin on Saturday, August 24, 2024, with “Week Zero″ games. The full slate of games for “Week 1″ will start on Thursday, August 29, 2024, and continue through the Labor Day weekend.
This early start is typical for the NCAA, with some schools playing in “Week Zero″ games before the main season kicks off. There are seven games currently scheduled for opening week, with season beginning entirely the next week.
This year the first college football game will be played in Dublin, Ireland where Florida State will take on Georgia Tech at Aviva Stadium.
