After a couple of early upsets, March Madness is definitely living up to its name. Here are the games that were played on Friday, March 23.

With the opening round of the NCAA Tournament finished, we have already witnessed the excitement that March Madness promises. With upsets by Oakland and Grambling, who took down giants in Kentucky and Montana State respectively, the field is now wide open.

The four number ones are UConn in the East, North Carolina in the West, Houston in the South, and Purdue in the Midwest. UConn are the defending champions and looking to become the first team to repeat since Florida in 2006-2007.
