Has March Madness been mad enough for your liking yet? If you’re big on Princeton then it probably has, as they followed up their surprise first-round win over second seeds Arizona by ousting seventh seeds Missouri fairly comfortably (78-63) in the second round on Saturday. Nobody will be looking forward to coming up against them in the sweet 16 and beyond as The Big Dance moves forward, that’s for sure.

Top seeds Kansas dumped out

Saturday’s eight round of 32 ties saw top seeds Alabama and Houston progress in the South and the Midwest respectively as expected. However, fellow number one Kansas were defeated by a point by eighth seeds Arkansas, leaving UCLA, who saw off Northwestern, as the highest seeds in the West.

There were also victories for San Diego State (South) and Texas (Midwest) as was anticipated, but East fifth seeds Tennessee posted an impressive 65-52 win over Duke, who were ranked one place higher.

Who will be the Princeton, or indeed Arkansas, of Sunday 19 March? Fairleigh Dickinson, we’re looking at you after your superb win over East top seeds Purdue in round one.
