The first round of the College Football Playoffs has already concluded, with 8 teams battling it out for the top honour. Here are all the results so far, followed by the upcoming games (remembering that some teams received byes into the quarterfinals):

Wednesday, Jan. 1
The College Football Playoff (CFP) semifinals will take place on January 9 and 10. The Orange Bowl, featuring the Fiesta Bowl winner against the Sugar Bowl winner, is scheduled for Thursday, January 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Cotton Bowl, pitting the Peach Bowl winner against the Rose Bowl winner, will follow on Friday, January 10, at 7:30 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The CFP National Championship will occur on Monday, January 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, with coverage on ESPN.
