The San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head into Sunday’s match-up at Levi’s Stadium feeling slightly better about life after posting much-needed victories on NFL week 10.

49ers and Bucs end losing streaks

Kyle Shanahan’s team comfortably defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-3 last time out, ending a run of three successive losses. That streak had come as something of a surprise considering they had started the season with five victories on the spin, and they rediscovered their mojo against the Jags, passing the 30-point barrier having only managed 17 in their last three games.

The Bucs brought an even worse run to a halt - four defeats in a row - on week 10, seeing off the Tennessee Titans with similarly few problems (20-6).

As a result of last weekend’s victories, the 49ers are 6-3 in first spot in NFC West, while Todd Bowles’ team are second in NFC South despite their 4-5 record.

Neither team look to have too much in the way of injury troubles to contend with going into Sunday’s game, with only three players completely ruled out of the the clash.

49ers injury report

Offensive guard Aaron Banks hasn’t participated in practice at all this week because of a toe injury and won’t be involved, as is the case with Nick Zakelj, who is on the injured reserve list with a torn bicep and will miss the rest of the season.

Cornerbacks Darrell Luter Jr. and Samuel Womack (both knee) and defensive end Robert Beal Jr. (hamstring) are on the questionable list.

Bucs injury report

As for the Bucs, safety Ryan Neal is the only player who definitely won’t feature after injuring his thumb, which has kept him out of practice this week. Guard Matt Feiler is listed as questionable because of a knee issue, although he was a full participant in practice all week, which seems to suggest he could ultimately play.

It was revealed on Sunday that nose tackle Vita Vea was suffering from illness but was nevertheless expected to play.
